Hania's Venetian lighthouse restored

Lighthouse_1

It looks like the work to renovate Hania's trademark Venetian lighthouse has finally finished. All of the scaffolding has been removed, and now at night it is lit up. The lighthouse itself is no longer used as such, but spotlights on the side of the building pulse with light once twilight sets in. The effect is very beautiful.

Now all we have to do is find the enrgy for the 1.5km walk around the harbour's sea walls in order to get to it to have a closer look.
