Feeding swallows in Vamos

One of the highlights of our trip to Vamos was the sight of this swallow's nest, complete with babies. We enjoyed watching the parents swooping all around the main "square" of the village, fetching food for the noisy littl'uns.

Still, these photographs are also proof that a career as a nature photographer doesn't await me - poor focus and not a short enough shutter speed - but hopefully you get the idea.

I took a photo of a swallow visiting her nest to feed the squawkers last August - at least I don't have to spend a few days wondering why you'd taken a photo of a blob in a corner - as I did when I looked at my sorry results...

You did raise your ISO up to something higher than a 100 right? :-)
