More spending

It felt like money was leaking out of our pockets as we walked around town this morning. First off was the estate agents to pay them their commission for finding our home - a hefty €500, but what can you do? Then we went to a really helpful small electronics shop called Rompolakis to order our cooker. Next up a furniture store for a large table to act as a desk/dining table/outdoor table in the short term, and a smaller table to act as a TV stand. Next was another furniture store where we have chosen a futon - this will allow us to have a comfy sofa in the living room, but be able to put it into the spare room as a bed when we have guests, which will hopefully be very soon. Finally we went home via Claire's very favourite shop - on Kidonias there is a pet shop with a couple of young puppies that can just about get their noses out of their cages in order to nibble your fingers.
