Pro-Islamic graffiti in Chania

We've spotted plenty of Anti-American and anti-Nato graffiti and protests in our time in Chania, but when we went for a walk along the beach, for the first time, on the old abandoned Aptera Beach Hotel, we spotted explicit pro-Islamic graffiti.

That is quite a bold statement to spray on the walls, given the history of Crete's relationship with Islam, and the country's sensitive position with neighbouring Islamic Turkey.
