No OneTwo free for me

20070304_onetwo I had to make a brief flying visit to London last week for business.

By total coincidence, I landed at Heathrow at 5pm, and at 6pm one of my favourite artisits, Claudia Brücken, was doing a free mini-gig and CD signing in Sister Ray in London to promote her new project OneTwo's album "Instead".

With a good tail-wind, and a bit of luck, I might have just been able to make it.

Alas, it wasn't to be - my two flights were both delayed, plus my Oyster Card has developed a fault holding me up on the Underground at Heathrow for fifteen minutes sorting it out, and in the end I didn't reach Central London until 7pm.

It is the first time I've ever had to use the weather at Frankfurt as an excuse for missing a gig.
