The Dogs of Hippocampus

Dogs The Hippocampus bar we frequent on Golden Beach doesn't just sometimes have some stray geese, it also has a small collection of dogs.

These two are a couple of the regulars. Claire isn't so keen on the one on the left, he is a bit too mad and random for her.

We love the one on the right though. He displays the most amazing skill at getting up on his hind legs to poach any leftovers from the beach cafe tables. We've seen him delicately lift up an uneaten burger, and retrieve it for his own dinner, both buns intact. Very impressive.

He also always seems to pick my chair to hide under if kids on the beach are being rotten to him.
