Fire in the Sand - née Moonlight Shadow

There are some Greek songs that we keep hearing in cafes and bars, and one that has been haunting me has been a Greek version of Mike Oldfield's "Moonlight Shadow".

I don't think I can do justice to it by describing it, except by saying that it is a note-for-note  (and vocal effect-for vocal effect) copy of the original, but sung in Greek. By a man.

Fortunately you don't have to rely on my description of "A Fire in the Sand" by Stelios Rokkos, because there is a streaming copy you can listen to online thanks to this Sydney based blog - "A Song in the Life of Me". Go on, give it a spin.

Dave_angel_1 Perhaps somewhere there is also the Greek equivalent of Dave Angel - Eco Warrior?

Hello lovely Claire and Martin - I've only just found this, and now I can keep up with your comings and goings more regularly. Crete sounds wonderful.

Lots of love to you both
Penny
