Lemon tree blossom

Lemontreeflower Our lemon tree is in bloom - we have one little blossom open, with two more clusters of buds looking likely to flower any day. Plus one of our cucumber plants is flowering as well.

Given that our joint track record of looking after plants is not terribly good, we are, as they say, over the moon with our little balcony garden!

You won't be surprised if your cucumbers grow bent or curly will you?

No, but we will report them to the EU if they are *too* bent

Glad to hear it. I thought straight cucumbers were hilarious when I first saw them in the shops.

There is some sort of rude cucumber joke in here somewhere, but I'm going to let it pass ;-)
