Getting spooked by Lawrie

Lawrie Claire and I are well known for our love of spooky things - but we found one the other week we were not so keen on. Both of us separately got totally freaked out in the middle of the night when we emerged from the bathroom to find someone sitting in one of the chairs around our table.

Turns out, of course, that it wasn't anyone in our house, it was just that in the dim light coming in through the doors our house-plant Lawrie had contrived to look as if it was a bloke sitting in the chair. We were both totally spooked though.

We've moved the chair - so now at night the plant just looks like a machete-wielding midget lurking in the corner.
